NAB AFL Auskick Ambassador of the year awards

Following the continued success in 2009, The WA Football Commission would like to formally recognise 3 individuals in WA judged to have made outstanding contributions to the NAB AFL Auskick program for 2010.

The criteria for nomination is as follows:

  1. Minimum of 3 years involvement with their local NAB AFL Auskick centre / NAB AFL Auskick rules teams’ ie ongoing involvement over a minimum of 3 years with children aged 5 – 12 years.
  2. Have attained level one coach accreditation.
  3. Have made a positive contribution towards the philosophies of NAB AFL Auskick ie focus on skill development, parental involvement, fun and maximum participation.
  4. Acts as an ambassador for the game, working for the best interest of the game and never bringing the game into disrepute.

The process for selecting the individual recognition awards will be as follows:

  1. Upon acceptance of the nominations based on the above criteria, an independent panel made up of WAFC, District and NAB staff will select the award winners. With such a high degree of worthy nominations expected to be received, we believe this is the fairest manner in which to select the awards.
  2. Nominations will be divided into three categories
  • Metropolitan  NAB AFL Auskick ambassador of the year
  • Country NAB AFL Auskick ambassador of the year
  • Female  NAB AFL Auskick ambassador of the year
Award recipients will be notified via mail and presentations will be made at the final NAB AFL Auskick meeting for 2010. All nominees will be recognised with a certificate of appreciation for their efforts throughout the season.

Clubs and associations are requested to complete the online registration form supplying as much relevant information as possible. All nominations need to be sent by no later than Monday 16th August 2010.
