The exciting AFL School Ambassador program was launched in 2004 by the Minister for Education and Director General at Subiaco Oval. Currently (27 May 2009) there are 862 teachers involved in the program.

AFL School Ambassadors are provided with a fully funded Professional Development Day and are supplied with the following:
Metro Induction Days are conducted in early March each year while Country courses are usually during late March and/or April.
The program is endorsed by the WA Football Commission's Education Advisory Group comprising of representatives of education groups in WA.

- Role and expectations of the AFL School Ambassador
- Resources and support available from the West Australian Football Commission, including current football programs available to schools
- Practical PE activities and Cross-curricular activities involving a football theme
Please note: Teachers must attend an Induction Day before they can officially act as an AFL School Ambassador in their school.
If you wish to join the AFL School Ambassador team then please register for the next Induction Day in the metro area (Subiaco Oval) or country region. You may register online by clicking on the AFLSA Registration Form below.
