Smarter than Smoking Football Cup (Year 8/9) - Nominate

The Smarter than Smoking Football Cup is a statewide Year 8 and Year 9 competition played in WAFL districts producing a champion school to represent each of the nine WAFL clubs. The competition runs through Term 2 and Term 3. The Grand Final of the 2010 Smarter than Smoking Cup will be played on Subiaco Oval the Curtain Raiser to the Fremantle v Carlton game (27-29 August)l.For further information please contact your Smarter than Smoking Football Development Officer.

Schoolgirls Cup (Year 8/9) - Nominate

A number of stakeholders from the school community have expressed their support for the introduction of a Year 8/9 schoolgirl’s competition. In 2009 8 teams participated in the inaugural Term 3 competition and in 2010 the competition will again be offered to interested schools.

Schoolgirls One Day Carnivals (Year 8/9) - Nominate

Smarter than Smoking Development Officers will continue to organise a series of one-day lightning carnivals for Year 8/9 schoolgirls to provide opportunities for school girls to either try football in a safe and fun environment, and/or enhance their football skills developed through their PE program.For further information or to register your interest contact your Smarter than Smoking Development Officer.

AFL Sportsready Cup (Year 10)

The AFL SportsReady Cup is a competition involving a series of one day regional lightning carnivals played during Term 2 coordinated by School Sport WA and the Associated and Catholic Colleges of WA.  The Grand Final of the 2010 AFL SportsReady Cup will be played on Tuesday 10 August. Smarter than Smoking Schoolgirls Cup (Year 10/11/12) - Nominate

The Smarter than Smoking Schoolgirls Cup is coordinated by the WAFC and the Schoolgirls Advisory Committee.  There are 2 metropolitan divisions & the competition is played during Term 2 on TUESDAYS over 2 x 20 minute halves. Country competitions will be coordinated by your Smarter than Smoking Football Development Officer.

Belt Up Cup (Year 11/12) - Nominate

The Belt Up Cup is a competition is entering its 22nd year and is coordinated by the WAFC and the Secondary School Football Advisory Committee. There are five metropolitan regions (North West, North East, South West, South East, Peel) run across 3 metropolitan divisions (Cable, Jakovich & Glendinning). The competition is played during Term 2 with games played after school on WEDNESDAYS over 2 x 25 minute halves. Country competitions will be coordinated by your Smarter than Smoking Football Development Officer.
