THE 2017 McDonald's WAFL Premiership Season gets underway this Saturday with four fascinating matches with all nine clubs looking to make their mark throughout the year.

All nine clubs have made strides to grow and improve over the pre-season with the 2017 campaign to get underway with four big games this Saturday.

Swan Districts takes on Perth at Steel Blue Oval and East Fremantle faces Claremont at East Fremantle Oval both in the 2.15pm time slot.

Then at 4.15pm at Fremantle Community Bank Oval, South Fremantle is playing Subiaco before at Leederville Oval from 7pm, East Perth takes on Peel Thunder. 

West Perth has the Round 1 bye.

Before the season gets underway, here's how all the teams are shaping up:

CLAREMONT
